| As much as I wanted to do Savannah I wouldn't risk the drive and have something/anything happen to the car prior to selling it. Also I couldn't get the time away from work. A coworker already had that vacation slot. And you are correct, I've always posted pics of the mods over the years. Comments are appreciated whether they're good bad or indifferent. Although in the end it's still my car and my vision wins in the end. If I took into account every comment and acted on them the car would never be done. Case in point are the posts in this thread about clear corners, fog light ducts, and blacking out the roof. All of those were scratched from the list of possibilities back when they were first introduced. I think I've stayed pretty conservative on the mods as it was my daily driver/commuter for ~4 years. The decal stuff is fun. It may change again? Like I've said in the past, OEM is easy. If every Z in savannah was OEM it would have been a very boring event. Cars like yours that are in mint condition are rare and nice to see as are those that are off the wall outrageous customs. When you attend a car show you go for several reasons, comradery, events, change of scenery, but primarily to check out each others cars. To see who has done what with their car that sets it apart from yours and others. From these events you gain inspiration, ideas, and vision. You know this first hand each year when the Turkey Rod Run hits town. Thousands of cars at all levels of custom. And you have those guys that attend in their "off the showroom floor" cars. They're all nice to look at and admire. At this point the car is done. I'm having fun with the decals and at $20 a set I could replace them each week for a new look... up to the point when the new owner drives away.
